It took you three weeks and real ad spend to fill that room. A live that cuts out twenty minutes into your pitch isn't a small problem, it's the whole thing gone. So we built for both sides at once: a stream that holds, and a one-click way out when something nobody saw coming goes wrong.
We didn't write our own streaming engine, and that's deliberate. Your live runs on the same technology family that carries Twitch: the low latency and the stability that hold once the room fills up. Reported bugs sit under 1%, and when one shows up it's usually the viewer's own connection, not the stream. That's why so much of this page is about what happens on their side, not ours.
While your live runs, a second one runs beside it, unlisted. Nobody sees it, nobody stumbles onto it. Something goes wrong on your end, you hit the Panic Button, and a pop-up moves every viewer onto that backup broadcast. They don't reconnect, they don't do a thing. You're not pausing the room and inventing a technical glitch. You're moving it, mid-sentence, and you keep talking.
The pause button pauses the broadcast, a separate tool for a separate moment. There's also a manual redirect: one link that sends the whole room somewhere else, live. We've used it in a real session to move a full room onto a video call. Two buttons, and you decide which one you reach for.
This is the most common failure, and the one you'd normally have zero control over. When a viewer's connection weakens, their video quality drops on its own so the audio and the live keep going, instead of freezing them on a still frame. They get an automatic message explaining what's happening. When the connection comes back, they reconnect on their own.
The full state of the live is saved server side, in real time. Nothing is lost when someone drops and comes back. Reconnect mid-live and you get a recap of what you missed, so you're not landing cold in the middle of the pitch.
Before you go live, people land in a waiting room with the chat already open. The room starts talking before you show up. So you don't open to a cold click, you open to a room that's already going. Start a few minutes late and nobody's staring at a black screen wondering if they got the wrong link.
We don't broadcast from encoding or external studio software. Several clients have asked. We don't have it, and we'd rather tell you here than the night before your live. If your whole production runs through an outside studio, that setup isn't us.
We look at your format, your volume, and what the tool would change for you. No strings attached.
